“Slayering” Dubbed in New York’s Fashion Show

In the fashion show event themed as the Enk International and IMG’s Men’s Fashion Show staged in New York, there were diverse designs for clothing and uniforms designed for men. These were featured on the event. And almost all the male models were wearing layered clothing featuringdiverse techniques of dressing up. Most of the get-up featured different ways of wearing scarves. The popular fashion statement featured in the fashion show is “slayering.” 

“Slayering” is in fact a style that used different garments in one total outfit to create a certain fashion theme for fall (and even for winter). This style completes any attire and enhance any boring outfit into something fashionable and creative.  

Anyway, let me try to illustrate this certain style of fashion to you given that this sounds unusual enough because of its novelty (what more when you can’t see an image of apicture that speaks of this kind of fashion. In one of the featured combination of clothes during the event, a dark blonde male model was wearing a long scarf around his neck while its ends hang loosely in front of his body in an uneven drape. He was wearing mens dress shirts in the shade of beige. Under the dress shirts, he was wearing a white cotton shirt with screen printed texts on the front. The model wore a pair of knee-length khaki shorts where the ends were folded into an inch or two. This was then accented with a black leather belt,  With the other scarf’s end being tucked in under the belt  . 

An additional fashion style featured is the simple white T-shirt (not even men dress shirts but just a simple shirt) with a monochromatic abstract design on the right side of the shirt. This was accented with a tri-tone, a combination of black, white and gray checked scarf with tassels on the edges. The model looks charming and at the same time, informal, but without compromising on elegance and sophistication.
