Will Conjugated Linoleic Acid Assist With Your Weight Loss Plan?

Several studies have been done on CLA. One study revealed in the Journal of Nutrition found that people taking CLA lost on average six pounds of body fat more than a study group that took a placebo. The researchers discovered that you need around 3.four grams of CLA per day for it to be effective. CLA is found in food, especially meat and dairy products, but supplementation is important for most people to achieve that level.

Another study at Purdue University, Indiana, found that CLA enhanced insulin levels in about two-thirds of diabetics, and slightly decreased their blood glucose level and triglyceride levels, suggesting that it might help to keep up ordinary insulin levels. But see your doctor of medicine before taking any supplements if you have diabetes.

This isn’t a magic pill but if you’re committed to reducing your body fat permanently CLA could work for you.  It’s main result is to adapt fat to muscle. You may look slimmer and feel healthier.  If you include exercise and smart eating you’ll lose weight quickly.
